Our Team

Dr. Black received his undergraduate degree from Colorado College and in 1993, graduated at the top of his class from the University of Michigan Dental School. He then completed a one year residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. During his residency he completed rotations in anesthesia and oral and maxiofacial surgery.

Dr. Black enjoys volunteering his dental services to the Linn Benton Dental Link, NW Medical Teams, and the Assistance League of Corvallis. Dr. Black enjoys playing indoor soccer and is currently training for the Vancouver Half Marathon. He and his wife have four children and they all enjoy outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, camping and river rafting.

Jackie has lived in Corvallis since graduating from OSU with a degree in art and photography. She has worked for several years in dental administration and prior to that many years in an art gallery and custom frame studio.

She enjoys quilting, traveling, reading and family. She and her husband keep busy with their three children, and gourmet cooking with friends.

Sandie is the newest addition to the Timberhill Dental team. She has joined us after staying home with her 2 young boys. Being a native Oregonian she enjoys camping, boating and riding quads with her family.

Marie attended Oregon State University before earning her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Oregon Health Sciences University. Marie enjoys walking, swimming, cooking and spending sunny afternoons at the park with her daughter. Marie and her family are avid Oregon State fans and love attending Beaver sporting events.

Anne graduated from the University of Bern Switzerland with a degree in psychiatric nursing. After moving to the United States in 1987 she attended Lane Community College and received a degree in Dental Hygiene. Anne and her husband live on a small farm in Brownsville and raise miniature donkeys.

Chrissy has been an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for 8 years. Chrissy obtained her education at Linn Benton Community College. Her goal is to make every visit to our office a wonderful experience for all patients. During her time away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children. Her other interests include gardening, canning, water-skiing, hiking, and soaking up the sun.

Tina has been part of our team since 1998 as a certified dental assistant. She enjoys her volunteer work for The Corvallis Boys and Girls Club Dental Clinic and NW Medical Teams and in 2000 traveled to Mexico as part of a dental mission. Tina and Dr. Black are planning a trip to Guatemala to provide dental care for the local people. Tina and her husband enjoy all outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, biking and sky diving and Tina recently completed her first marathon.

Before joining our dental team, Karen worked for many years in interior merchandising. She has lived in Corvallis for most of her life and keeps busy camping, gardening and attending sport activities with her husband and three children.
