How does dental whitening gel work?
At Timberhill Dental, our whitening gel combines oxygen and a peroxide. Together, these two active ingredients make a powerful combination that breaks down staining molecules that adhere to the surface of your teeth.
How long after using whitening trays can I eat?
You can eat/drink about 30 minutes after taking your trays off. Don’t forget to brush your teeth after removing the trays and rinse them with water.
Remember, you should never eat or drink while wearing the trays.
How do I use my teeth whitening trays?
Brush and floss as usual. Fill the trays with whitening gel per instructions by our dental assistant and wear them 30-60 minutes once per day.
How long does it take to fully whiten teeth?
Our teeth whitening treatment usually takes 3-4 weeks but you may notice a difference in your smile after just a few days. However, this will vary from patient to patient.
