I knew I wanted to be a dentist from a very young age. I was drawn to the field because of a great dentist I had when I was young. The compassion, skill, and positive attitude he brought to his work inspired me.
Today, I’ve owned Timberhill Dental for over 20 years and look forward to the challenges and opportunities every day presents. I love meeting new patients and showing them a different (and better!) dental experience than they’ve ever had before.
I take great pride in helping patients with dental anxiety, people who haven’t seen the dentist in years, and anyone who’s had a less than stellar experience with a dentist in the past.

Have run over 15 half-marathons and one full marathon. My best time was 1:59 at the Vancouver, BC ½ marathon.
Love picking out all the spa features in our office. It’s awesome to hear someone say, “I wish my house looked like this!”
Was a geology major in college and worked for a summer in Oklahoma as a “Doddlebugger”.

I’ve been married to my wife Susan since 1989 and we have 4 wonderful children. We enjoy traveling, fitness, and spending time in the great outdoors here in Corvallis and beyond.
Community
Corvallis is my home and I love giving back. You might have seen me on the news as the “Candy Dentist.” Over the years, we’ve bought back thousands of pounds of Halloween candy from local kids and donated thousands of dollars to great causes.
We’ve also taken the Timberhill Dental team to Jamaica, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic to provide pro bono dental care to those in need.
