CEREC Single Visit Crowns Corvallis, OR
The Future of Dentistry is Available at Timberhill Dental
No impressions, no temps – just beautiful, tooth colored restorations. Get your single visit crown at our Corvallis office.
For decades, crowns, onlays, veneers, and other single tooth restoration options required several visits to the dentist to complete. Not anymore! At Timberhill Dental, we’re proud to offer CEREC® single visit restorations to our patients.
This means that you can have a crown created and placed in only a single visit. That means less waiting, less worry, and less time in the dentist’s office. We recommends the CEREC® system to nearly all of our patients that are in need of a ceramic restoration. Find out why it might be the right choice for you.

Did You Know?
Our CEREC® system is truly the best option available for a crown in Corvallis. Over 250 scientific studies have shown CEREC® to be the safest, most effective way to restore single teeth. And in just a single visit.
If you need multiple teeth restored, the CEREC system is still often the preferred single visit option. Other options, like a bridge or implant, will also be explored.
CEREC® vs. Traditional Restorations
The CEREC® system is a marvel of engineering. It uses advanced computer-aided design (CAD) technology and advanced software to allow us to design and fabricate a permanent ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer in just minutes.
Compare the minimally-invasive, CEREC® process to that used to create traditional restorations:
CEREC® | Traditional Restorations | |
---|---|---|
Preparing the Tooth | Requires minimal removal of healthy tooth structure | Generally requires a dentist to remove more healthy tooth structure |
Designing the Restoration | A digital camera is used to take a picture of your tooth which is uploaded to the CEREC® system. No gooey molds needed! | Requires using a mold full of a sticky goop that you must hold in your mouth until it hardens |
Applying a Temporary | Not needed! | A temporary that will last a few weeks will be glued to your tooth using a weak cement |
Creating the Restoration | We use the CEREC® software to model your restoration and then create a permanent ceramic restoration in minutes. | Your crown will be prepared in an off-site dental lab. A process that takes weeks. |
Placing the Finished Restoration | No return visit needed! Permanent restoration will be created and placed in a single visit. | You’ll schedule an appointment a few weeks down the road to have your mouth numbed, your temporary pried off and your finished restoration placed. |
